Dr. Rajeev Venugopal is a highly respected Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with extensive experience in aesthetic, reconstructive, and microsurgical procedures. He is dedicated to helping patients restore function, confidence, and quality of life through advanced surgical techniques and compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Venugopal completed his medical training at The University of the West Indies (UWI) in 1992 and subsequently completed his internship at Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas. He then pursued specialist training in General Surgery at The University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI), completing his residency in 2000.
Following his surgical training, Dr. Venugopal completed a prestigious Plastic Surgery Fellowship with the Plastic Surgical Division at Jackson Memorial Hospital, affiliated with the University of Miami School of Medicine, one of the leading centres for plastic and reconstructive surgery in North America.
Since returning to Jamaica in 2002, Dr. Venugopal has served as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the University Hospital of the West Indies and as an Associate Lecturer in the Faculty of Medical Sciences at The University of the West Indies, contributing significantly to both patient care and surgical education.
Known for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to achieving optimal outcomes, Dr. Venugopal provides both reconstructive and aesthetic surgical services for a wide range of conditions.
