Dr. Kristé-Kaye King-Robinson is a highly trained Consultant Gastroenterologist and Internal Medicine Specialist dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with digestive and liver disorders. Her passion for gastroenterology began during her medical training and has guided her pursuit of excellence throughout her career.
Dr. King-Robinson earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from The University of the West Indies (UWI), where an elective rotation in Gastroenterology sparked her enduring interest in the specialty. She subsequently completed a Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Internal Medicine at UWI, developing a strong foundation in the diagnosis and management of complex medical conditions.
Following her specialist training, Dr. King-Robinson served as an Internal Medicine Consultant at the principal public hospital in the British Virgin Islands, where she gained extensive experience managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical illnesses. Her commitment to advancing her expertise led her to pursue subspecialty training in Gastroenterology at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, one of North America’s leading academic institutions.
During her Gastroenterology Fellowship, Dr. King-Robinson trained alongside internationally recognized experts in digestive health, advanced endoscopy, liver disease, and gastrointestinal disorders. Her academic contributions include publications in the West Indian Medical Journal, and she was honoured with the prestigious Canadian Association of Gastroenterology Resident Research Award in recognition of her research excellence during her fellowship training.
