Dr. Carlos Neblett is a highly skilled Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with expertise in aesthetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, and microsurgery. He completed his medical training at The University of the West Indies (St. Augustine and Cave Hill Campuses) and undertook his internship at The University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI), Jamaica.
Dr. Neblett completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The University of the West Indies, Mona, and further advanced his surgical training at Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas. He subsequently completed a prestigious Fellowship in Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery at the internationally renowned Ganga Medical Centre & Hospital Pvt. Ltd. in Coimbatore, India, one of the world’s leading centres for hand surgery and microsurgical reconstruction.
An accomplished academic and researcher, Dr. Neblett has published extensively in respected local and international journals, including the West Indian Medical Journal, The Journal of Hand Surgery (Europe), and The Journal of Surgical Case Reports (Oxford Academic). He has presented at numerous local and international conferences and was a member of the University Hospital of the West Indies team that received the award for Most Outstanding Poster Presentation at the Ministry of Health’s 9th Annual Research Conference in 2018.
Dr. Neblett currently serves as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Kingston Public Hospital and Bustamante Hospital for Children, where he is highly regarded for his technical expertise, compassionate care, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients.
